My story
I was once in your shoes feeling overwhelmed, anxious, scared, and excited. There are things I wish I would've known to be prepared for, but I am still happy about taking that leap of faith in my self, by myself. Here's my story and how I started solo traveling.

My first solo trip ever...Tokyo, Japan 2019.
The famous Shibuya Crossing
How I started
Hey there. My name is Debby. Let me tell you a bit about how I got into solo-traveling. I too, was in your shoes. I had only visited a few places for family vacations or some with friends. It wasn't until I knew I wanted to go on an international trip as a graduation present for myself that I unintentionally started my journey as a solo-traveler.
I never thought one trip could change my life so drastically.
It started with an idea of possible destinations, a small group of friends, and a budget for it all. Eventually, one person dropped out... and then another, and eventually, it was then just me. I didn't and would never hold it against anyone who had other things going on their life that backed out from the trip. However, I was locked in to the idea of going somewhere, anywhere as a gift & reward for finally completing college.
I had two months to figure out where I was going to go alone. Of course I was nervous! But you know where I started to grow my confidence? Research. The iconic internet of the world full of information. It was overwhelming at first, so I took small achievable steps to calm my nerves and lead with my faith to pursue this, even if I was scared.
I was in between a few destinations, but ultimately I went with Tokyo, Japan.
Ironically, I had long layovers in two different cities in China to and from Tokyo, so I figured two countries in one visit sounded awesome! If you want to see the chaos in my first layover and first experience in China, definitely go watch my Part 1 series of that vlog because I was GOING THROUGH IT hahaha.
Anyways, fast forward to today in 2025, I am now a confident solo-traveler. It's actually my preference now over a big group! When I was in college, the idea of travelling alone was never even an option I knew I could explore, especially as a woman!
I have now explored many different cities and countries alone and still have so many more to see! Domestically, I've gone to Atlanta, New Orleans, Portland, Seattle & Austin! All solo and all posted on YouTube as Solo-travel vlogs. Make sure to check them out!
Internationally, I've been to Cancun, The Bahamas, Mexico & Puerto Rico + Island of Vieques (technically, still US territory but you get what I mean).
My mission is to help women take charge of their power to even see solo-traveling as an option. To make sure you can be safe, protected, aware, and prepared!
I know that even before I launched this website, just posting my content alone has sent waves of inspiration to my dear friends who then take a crack at solo-traveling! That gave me the feeling of giddy happiness and sense of fulfillment!!
That is what kickstarted my drive.
The influence that one little woman like me can do, what else if possible on a global impact?!
I now want to introduce the same small steps I took to overcoming my fears, building up my courage, and to now, have the ultimate confidence to know that I can achieve anything!
No longer do you too, have to wait to see if plans make it out the group chat! No longer do you have to make plans with people who will just back out! No longer are you tied to the idea that you have to travel with others to live your life to the fullest! Ditch the constant uncertainty of anyone else actually willing to go with you!
If no one goes with you, are you willing to miss out on new opportunities?!
You have a life worth living & a world worth experiencing! I promise that.
That is the value and fulfillment of my brand. Ever since I started showing my content, I get multiple comments, DMs, and texts from friends for recommendations or questions on how to start, so hence why I started this business!
There is room for everyone! So please join and consider where I can help you go today!
And who knows, maybe we'll even run into each other on a trip someday!
